Magnus has well-equipped metallurgy lab headed experienced metallurgist and follows systematic QA procedures for incoming and PDI procedures with an emphasis on traceability.
With an in-house facility to check microstructures, welding penetration, macro etching, and flow line analysis.
Our experienced team is able to handle and analyse toughened, carburized, and nitrided parts , handle and check castings viz various grades Cast iron, Sg iron and steel casting and also advise on technical procurement parameters for forging open and close die parts with reduction ratios.
With an inhouse UT LEVEL 2 inspector parts are checked for UT MODSONIC EINSTEIN 2 and MPI YOKE TYPE .
We have tie up with an approved lab for mechanical testing and SPECTRO is done in house.
We have in-house image analyzer software coupled to the microscope and polishing machine for case depth, analyzing grain flow, grain size microstructure, and inclusion rating.
At Magnus we lay extra emphasis on quality assurance and focus on quality built in process . Inspection at incoming , in line and to pdi , all parts are checked as per requirement to ensure compliance of same. Senior person heads a team of well-qualified quality engineers with experience whose skills are upgraded by continuous training programs.
The workshop is well equipped with the latest quality tools and equipment, with measuring instruments of the required range, CMM , Profile projector with DRO and FARO.
To ensure output and monitor health of CNC machine we have in house ball bar test equipment of API. Training is regular process to upgrade skill of QA team.
Control of dwgs, process & ECN is strictly adhered in spirit and action.
